Be careful with these "complete" grass bags. They contain very little grass seed. Mostly mulch and the seed "coating" with some fertilizer and a little grass seed.

Read the label carefully of grass seed and packages like this.

Home Depot has the Sun and Shade mix for $18 for 8.3 pounds. That is a bit cheaper than the deal listed here for anyone needing it locally.

Cover seed with dirt. Hay or pine needles on top. Water regularly.
