I do appreciate your posts with the numerous and great free e-book titles. Been listening to Dr. Ashish Jha's podcasts since late October 2020. IMHO his viewpoints and theories don't align with the reality in my state where we've fully reopened and not seen a surge in infections as he predicted. Instead we see strong signs of herd immunity. Can't comment why herd immunity is here as regarding vaccination or regarding people catching and recovering from the infection. But the numbers reported in our state and other states which have reopened are not showing any increases across major metro areas and also the rural areas. In fact it seems to be in decline which is welcome news. What is frightening is that any agency would want to trace your moments the second you step out of your house and record your real time movements. Yes Google and Apple do this with their phones but as of yet no one is forcing you under penalty of law to turn on that phone and keep it on every single time you leave home. Making people show a barcode and ID just to buy groceries or do other normal human activities is a world I don't want to live in. Working remotely is pretty sweet and has been shown to boost productivity while cutting pollution due to reducing the number of people commuting. I do see the silver lining of making changes. But these titles invite undue fear as the country returns to normalcy and we all get back to work. Thank you for listening to my TED talk Big Grin

I'm pretty sure that massive spike has more to do with the incredibly low number of vaccinations, election rallies, and religious events than the new mutations. It would be foolish to associate India with herd immunity. They have less than 2% of population vaccinated. The idea that country had reached herd immunity is absurd.

Speaking of being out of alignment with reality, there are no proposals to require vaccination to go grocery shopping.

What specific part of the vaccine trials and subsequent studies are you refuting? Oh wait, you're not a scientist with a background in infectious diseases and immunology are you?
