If it has amazon built it, why would you use a roku stick? Guess if you are a big roku fan. Have one, and a 6 series 75 with it built it. It's hot garbage imo. I much prefer the firestick, especially since you can load any app onto it.

Can I connect this to a roku-equipped TV and use it strictly for the audio? Not really interested in the fire tv feature in it

Appears so, read the user manual for it on a third party website, you can select inputs from Fire TV (the internal one), to optical to HDMI ARC which should be what's coming from your roku equipped TV

In for one. We just spruced up our bonus room with an old TV that sounds terrible but it's still kicking. I almost bought a fire stick for it so this is a bonus. Thanks! I'll likely bring it outside for our family movie nights as well. Not looking to bathe the neighborhood in sound, but I also don't want to use the built in speakers on the crappy projector.

I like Roku because of the simplistic layout for my older not so tech savvy Chinese parents, the free EncoreTV apps (again for Chinese content), and few others things, but I also have two Firesticks for myself... On a Roku TV lol.

This is great value for $70, I got mine few days back and sound quality is very good and FireTV is 4K without lag. Two things to consider, Sound modes don't work and bluetooth range is terrible.

Just hooked up mine yesterday from the last deal. Sound is "okay", perfect for my basement workbench TV. I can't for the life of me get the Fire remote to control the power on my TV. I select the make of my TV, then it fails, and says "try later". Other than that, seems fine. For the guy saying it has no bluetooth, it DOES have bluetooth, and has a Bluetooth button on the side.

Anyone have any experience hooking this up to the HDMI ARC input on the TV and running other various devices to the TV? I have a raspberry pi and Roku 4K (I prefer roku interface), but I am just looking to beef up the sound on the bedroom TV.
