Typo in their title maybe? The VN suffix means it was made in Vietnam instead of China, but I agree that none of the model numbers are brushless models.

I'd have to say. I posted the deal prematurely without catching the model numbers.

Brushless in the title is almost certainly a typo. Nowhere else does it say brushless and their model number seems to indicate its reconditioned PCK100K kit which is not brushless. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../313581566

This looks identical to the 3 tool kit that pops up at HD from time to time. It isn't brushless and HD regularly had it new for $99.

Yes I bought this exact set in February brand new from Home Depot.com for $99. These are all those that were returned.....(if 1 part failed, they just tell you to return the full set, had to have the recip saw serviced and that was my 2nd option)

Clickbait I would call that or Bait and Switch. Very deceptive none of these are brushless. But saying brushless gets sales. I may never buy from Direct tools. If I do I will research the heck out of the supposed tools to make sure they are as claimed.

I've dealt with Direct Tools several times and the only issues I've ever had they fixed immediately w/o complaint. They've never been intentionally misleading that I've seen, they just seem to be unorganized and if I had to hazard a guess understaffed. You do have to do some comparative shopping but if you're thorough you can get some really great deals on new or nearly new tools.

I emailed them perhaps they will fix the mistake but it is a big mistake.
