Same item at Amazon is $595.99 with Prime, or $699.99 without Prime.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PGC6XV9

The Pro Ex comes version comes with both powered soft hard floor and powered carpet brushes, and 2 batteries, among other attachments.

Features:
Features Dual Charging Wall Mount, Two Removable and Rechargeable Batteries, and Multiple Tools
Automatically Senses Hidden Dirt and Debris
Ultra High Performance 500W Motor
Includes LED Multi-tasker Power Brush
Easily Converts to a Handheld Vacuum

This seemed reasonably popular in previous posts here and here.

Make it a better deal by finding a small item to push your cart over $500 and use the Costco $100 off $500 coupon. I was able to request one via chat. I just added these pruners [costco.com]because I needed some, but you can probably find something cheaper for a slicker deal. My total after 8.7% tax with the $29.99 pruners was $465.24.

Never heard of this brand. Better than dyson's handheld?

I'd watch the comparison link in OP's post to see which one suits your needs better

I purchased this a few months ago based off some video reviews. This is far superior than the dyson in battery life, filtration, ease of having a trigger lock (so my hand doesn't get tired of holding down the button). It has 2 batteries and a wall mount - those are extra $ with the dyson. It also has a dirt sensor which pulls a boost power when it senses dirt.

This seems to be a Dyson knockoff at Dyson prices.

If it's not going to be half the price or less, why not just get a Dyson? Is the 2nd battery supposed to make up for that?

The Costco website and even Tineco's website seem to be very cagey and reluctant to even specify the battery life, and it's unclear how "up to 50 minutes" (found here: https://us.tineco.com/products/pu...plus.html) is calculated.

If the same physics apply for them as for Dyson, at max power and using powered accessories, the battery life is mere minutes, but one can indeed get "up to 50 minutes" if they use the lowest power and a simple passive accessory (that has no motor, like a crevice tool).

So, is the Pro Ex's "up to 100 minutes" just 50x2 because there are two batteries?

I have a lower end Tineco A10 model that I got at Walmart on BF for under $100. This thing is a beast and I love it! I have a 1 and 5 yr old and this thing picks up their huge food chunks off the floor with ease, which is something I've struggled to find.

Never owned a Dyson so I can't fairly compare. I hadn't heard of Tineco before, but definitely would buy their stuff again. I figure this one is a big step up from mine basic model.

I also watched a few online reviews - everything I saw was pretty positive around the cleaning power of the Tineco so I bought it last July. I can't really speak to the cleaning power as I only used it briefly before returning it. The plastics just felt too cheap for how much they charging, regardless of the cleaning power,.

Yes it is because of the two batteries. If you want a comprehensive review, check out vacuum wars. This is a very good vacuum.

I have a Tineco A11 and a Dyson V11. The Tineco does not get nearly as much suction as the dyson. That said, it was less than 1/2 the price and does a decent job cleaning. Also, the Dyson totally bricked on me a couple months ago (although it was under warranty and replaced). Tineco also had it's share of issues and they were relatively responsive as well with replacement parts.
