The proprietary power supply and motherboard headers in this computer mean you will run into issues with future upgrades. This is intentional, slimy, and bad for the environment.

I'm using the same 1660 Super in my older i7-3930K build. It works great! This deal won't last long so order it as soon as possible!

360W power supply is a limiting factor for upgrades in my opinion. Unless intel releases some low power processors in the future, the upgrade would be tough.

It's been awhile since I have searched for desktops. I was under the impression that the Dell XPS line up can upgrade power module vs inspiron? Can someone confirm? I would hate to invest in this if I'm stuck with limited upgradability.

This is probably the best 1080p gaming computer value I have seen in awhile on here.

That I7 would bottleneck the 1660 super would need a better processor for that card.

I got the XPS desktop with 2060 GPU a couple of weeks ago for $790. I think 16GB ram and 500w power supply are the notable difference.
Is that worth the $140 price difference?

The desktop seems to be nicely and compactly built. My sole purpose was to get the gfx card as a temporary option for my other premium build. The processor has integrated graphics and the case came with both hdmi and display ports for the integrated graphics. Make sure you install intel gfx driver to use those ports. Dell does not install those.
It got that cheap? When I saw the 2060 SUPER XPS Desktop it was $1000.

It is not a SUPER, just the 2060 with 6GB VRAM.
I paid a total of $855 for that. I just needed the gfx card and am looking to sell the rest of the PC at a reasonable price.

It's an older build, but I can play older games in 4K. I'm currently gaming on a 1080p 75hz monitor, and it's completely fine. Once that older gaming PC dies out then I will build a nicer machine. My older card was a XFX AMD 6870 2GB so I needed an upgrade.

Good deal. Given I'm looking for a solid mid-range gaming PC for my kids, I'm hoping to score a 2060 with a 500w psu. Hoping that recent XPS deal comes back.

So it has proprietary mobo connectors? If so that kills it for me. I bought a great deal on a low end lenovo "gaming" build about 7 years ago with the intent to upgrade the PSU and graphics card. It was a nightmare. Had to change cases to fit everything and found out that the motherboard didn't have the typical pins for power connectors/USB and instead had some strange proprietary connector that only worked with the connectors on the case that the PC came in.

Wished I would've just spent more in the first place instead of fooling with all of that.
