$4 for bluetooth 5.0? I'd be willing to bet this is better. I got their Lavaudio 2.1 amp and it's surprisingly good. It's a miniature 2x50w bluetooth amp and it also has an output to add a powered subwoofer. The mii items seem to be pretty good for the price.

is this 3x as good as the $4 ones on Aliexpress?

I'm using one from aliexpress and it sounds pretty good.

the 1 month shipping sucks tho
Don't buy stuff from China right now. I ordered stuff back in December and haven't received them. I'm hearing the same from a lot of my friends too.

Was about to buy one until I checked the 4th image in the product page. It says - "Just insert it lightly, the traditional speaker is instantly resurrected with blood" Big Grin

I've got a taotronics transmitter/receiver that I got from a amazon warehouse deal few years back.
How do you like the audio & overall quality, and features? E.g. is it small and not too bulky, reliable, doesn't cut out, etc.?

I'm not the person you replied to, but I bought the same transmitter and it works great. I use it in my car everyday and have had absolutely 0 issues. Initially I had a whining noise coming out of my speakers, but this is easily solved by getting something to ground the connection between the aux/transmitter.

What's about the sound signal quality.. no distorsion? Is it hi res?
I bought one the last time it was on sale. I connected it to my Darkvoice tube amp so I could use bluetooth to play music from my phone. It sounded really good until my Darkvoice amp bit the dust (nothing to do with connecting it to this). There was no distortion. It sounded just as good as using the bluetooth connection in my Denon DNP 800 NE network streamer. Not sure about hi res, but if you're sending a hi res signal through bluetooth its going to be compromised by bluetooth anyway, no matter what the bluetooth receiver is.

Its a digital in signal (bluetooth) to an analog out (rca). Which means it has a built in DAC (digital to analog converter). Don't expect a good DAC with that price tag.

They would have sold me on a digital out... so I can hook it up to separate DAC for better sound quality.

Thanks. What do you connect it to, though? If it's a phone, can't you use its own BT? Or is it some sort of specialized audio device w/o BT?

I'll likely never buy one of these as it would mostly be for watching movies or TV shows on a flight through the plane's entertainment system, and I don't fly that often anymore. But I was curious and I might find other uses for it that hadn't occurred to me, like perhaps listening to a TV w/o BT on my BT headphones. Or perhaps to send an audio signal to a device like the one in this deal. I'm kind of a gadget guy. :-)

I use it to connect my phone's BT to my cars speakers since the car doesn't have BT.
