This one doesn't have 1280J protection. It's only 300J. I think you're looking at the larger Anker model.

The description is all over the place. The chart says none, the description says 1280, and then q&a says 300 (which the q&a is the least reputable)

I believe they have 2 versions of this product.
The one I own has the same mode number but it has a button on it not a switch. It also does have a small LED saying the surge protector is on.
I can't find specs on it for how much of a surge it covers though.

Little units like this are great to throw in your carry-on bag when you travel. You'll never have to fight over a power outlet in the airport because you can give whoever initially owned it a charge. Also don't have to bring additional power bricks for your phone or other chargeable devices.

I have one without a cord, but with a rotatable plug, and I've been the hero for my trip team when we all need to plug stuff in to charge but only have two outlets available.
