Looking for a total protection software.. Is Bitdefender perfect for it or any recommendations?
Will keep an eye for it on this site..
The bit defender total security would be a better option. I personally used it until I switched to using the built in microsoft security protection on windows 10 and a paid version of malwarebytes.
Does Bitdefender show ads for their vpn service? Annoying if so. Already paying for premium software, don't want extra ads.
Do they ever!
I got this deal last year. It started out great, but then one piece of bitdefender software on my win10 machine "evolved" into three (thanks, bitdefender auto updates!).
The software nags about the VPN and their other features if not turned on.
Also, use a fake email when you registrar as they pester you there, as well.
What is this? Downloaded but won't let me download just the internet security, I have to download the entire total security. After downloading there's no place to input the product key Newegg gives you.......
Do you know if those two years can be added on top of an existing subscription? Mine doesn't expire until Nov, 21
I'm actually not sure. Mine expired within a week or so, and then I bought the license but didn't activate until the old one expired. I think I still got the whole 2 years

You can stack only if it's the exact same sku. If you modify the product or number of licenses it will wipe out your current one. I normally just keep the keys and wait until a day or two prior to expiry. I lost three months once this way and they wouldn't reimburse it.

You can uninstall the VPN on the machine and stop alerts in the settings. I run Total Security on all my machines. It's annoying that you have to make these changes though.
