Yes they're not an authorized reseller. They basically sell open box or refurbs so YMMV with them. Also with the pandemic, the supply of 'extras' has kinda gone down. People are buying them up like crazy since they're now at home all the time. Offices are closing so there's supply, but demand for cheaper versions is sky high.

If you were looking for a chair pre-pandemic you'd be drowning in craigslist listing in NYC for literally new with tag Aeron chairs for $400. Now? Good luck getting anything

If cost is the only concern then yes something like Madison seating would have better pricing

But for an authoirzed reseller, with a full warranty, its a decent deal
It's a 12 year warranty, not lifetime, FYI

This is true. I've been able to pickup a couple Aerons on the used market, but those office furniture stores that used to be packed with used HM chairs? They are wiped out from the WFH push during COVID.
