Don't buy from Hive unless you are absolutely sure you want this chair. Their return policy is lousy. You have only fourteen days to return it, you pay return shipping (a small fortune), and you only receive store credit...never cash. And the store credit expires in one year.
And if it's damaged in shipping and you don't report it within 24 hours, you are S.O.L.
Buying from Herman Miller directly gets you 100 days free return policy where they pay shipping back and refund all your money.

For those who are asking for a contact, just go on Herman Miller's website, use their dealer locator and then reach out to a "local" vendor. I read online that they just have to be in the same state as you (not confirmed but I went with a dealer just a couple hours from me in the same state).
The embody I priced out on on HM was $1,675 BEFORE TAX. The dealer I went through got it for me for $1,067 (981 before tax) delivered to my house. I never left the house, everything was done via email.
My shipping address is in NJ but the dealer I've reached out is from NY, so may be they can ship to a neighboring state.

I was seriously about to buy an embody at retail, or wait for a sale like this. Glad I checked reddit and was made aware that authorized dealers will get you a better deal than any of these sales without any real effort.

One of the advantages of ordering from places like this is you can usually get it cheaper. I found authorized retailers had high restocking fees so it's risky if you don't know what size or model you want. If that's the case, I suggest going somewhere to sit in all them, then you can know what you want before you commit.
Conversely, paying full price (or black friday sale prices) on hermanmiller.com allows you to return on a whim if you don't like it. Pros and Cons to each approach.
You can get a deal similar to this anytime by going to a HM dealer. They always give you better pricing.
Source: Have 2, sitting in an Aerin right now.
The hook with the on line sellers is giving a price for a stripped down version of the Aeron, then make you consider whether or not you need each function. If you're investing in a good chair, talk to someone that can explain each function and go to the dealer to sit in the chair. They can adjust the chair to your height and weight and give you better info to weigh your decision.
Since I'm still WFH, I got rid of my $150 office chair in my home office to a Secret Labs gaming chair. Been using it for over 6 months now and so far so good. Much more comfortable than the Aeron and I can pretty much sit up to 6 hours before having to get up to move around, use the restroom, or whatever...I work longer hours at home than in the office just because I have a more comfortable seat.
I will have to ask my boss to replace my Aeron with a Secret Labs when we return back to the office full time.
