Awesome game. The increased speed over the original on Wii U is a shockingly huge improvement. And Bowser's Fury is just an absolute delight. My (nearly) 6 year old son loves both games, but especially Bowser's Fury because of the complete freedom you have to explore, and that I can jump in and play as Bowser Jr. to help him out.

Full stamp of approval and recommendation for this one. It's a mainline Mario game - 99.9% of the time, that is a very safe purchase.
Not exactly. There's a significant amount of tweaks to gameplay like making movement faster and adding new moves like the dive from Mario Odyssey. And it also adds a few new stages and an entirely new 5-8 hour campaign called Bowser's Fury.

This game is an significant improvement to the New Super Mario 2 for 3DS and Super Mario 3D World for 3DS. I like this game alot. Very modern and diversifying unlike Paper Mario

Didn't realize there was that much of a difference. I thought it was a rehash Wii U game with Bowser's Fury. I finished the Wii U one with all characters and everything, but may wait for this to get a little cheaper before getting it.

this has nothing to do with NEW SUPER MARIO 2
you are thinking of MARIO 3D LAND for 3DS..... which was a different game with different leves and powerups

Saw this tonight. Lowest price I've seen! Lower price than pre-owned at GameStop!

I still hate nursing a deal now but physical games are out for me as a parent to 4 under the age of 6, you can absolutely guess why 😁

Before I would've just purchased n not considered that $10 & tax for the digital download for a child gamer might be wirth more than that. After two incidents I'd like to never have a lost/destroyed console game again 🙄

There is actually a $10 off $50 offer from Discover, if you have their card. I also had a $5 credit from a recent gift card deal, for a final price of $35+tax, which isn't bad.
