The main thing is the length of the cords. Short on one side and a bit longer on the other since the headphone jack is on one side. With normal headphones you would have to do some cable management.

Anyone know how these are different than 'normal' in-ear headphones? Is there anything that makes these special for Oculus?

Perfect timing! Just got my Quest yesterday. I was going to stop by Best Buy and get the Logitech earbuds today ($50), but for $8.50, I'll give these a try. Thanks OP!

The in built sound is surprisingly good. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I do.

I would disagree with that statement. My wife and daughter say they can hear the cards being dealt and the conversations in VR Pokerstars when I am playing. I do not have the volume up very high (maybe a third of the way).

I bought mine day one... used it once and haven't touched it since. Objects close up appear blurry and I'm getting lots of "God rays".. That said, I don't wear glasses but definitely need them. I have to hold my cell about a foot away to get text clear so I'm guessing that's the issue..

Only questioned if it was my display because I did read reports of faulty units on launch. It's just odd because objects (in game) that are "further away" seem to be more in focus. I would think everything should be blurry if it's just my eyes because isn't everything technically on the same plane (screen) anyway?

Anyone here use glasses with it? Have success? From what I understand I'll need the lens adapter (spacer) correct?
Just you, i also bought it on day one and i havent really used it much. But now that air link is free and possible for pc streaming, i am up for it. Plus many things to do with it like unlockong 120hz and increasing volume power by sideloading apps.

It's not just you, these are common complaints about the 2. The original Quest had a much larger sweet spot and fewer god rays. The 2 has a very, very small sweet spot and you need to adjust very carefully to find it. If you look event slightly off center, text becomes blurry. In an actual game it usually doesn't cause a big issue, but the menus suck on the 2 because of it.

I use glasses but I scratched the lenses of both the Oculus and my glasses. I was able to replace the Oculus easily because I went through Costco. So use some sort of lense protectors such as these from Amazon if your going to use glasses.

I think a little god rays is normal and text that is not in the center view will appear blurry some. You can see some examples online such as this page to compare what is bad vs normal.

Also check to see if your Oculus is one of the few that had not so good lenses to begin with such as descussed in some forums such as here.

This is refreshing to hear. It wasn't the reason I haven't used mine since Christmas, but it certainly wasn't helping increase playtime. Glad to know is a global issue.
