I think the majority of PSN players haven't bothered with the PS Now at all so they consider this a win? For me personally, I definitely think this is sub-par at best.

Probably because PSNow isn't very popular so not many people have it I'm guessing.

There have been far too many PlayStation plus games that are also on PlayStation now. Stranded deep is on PSNow, and the PS4 version of Wreckfest is too, which can be played on PS5 with backwards compatibility. It surprises me that Sony doesn't face a backlash for that. Does this bother anyone else, or is it just me?
PlayStation plus has dramatically cut down how much I spend on games. I've had it now for about 10 years and paying about 30 a year. I have way too many games that I actually want to play.

This plus PlayStation now in kind of odd place. It doesn't get the latest game and I already have a huge backlog of older games.

I'm sure it bothers a majority of PSNow subscribers, but I don't think that is a lot of people. I personally subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate since I feel it is a much better value, even though I don't own an Xbox One or Series S|X. And then I have PS+ for my PlayStation 5. The value of the games I've been getting on PS+ since launch has been outstanding and worth far more than what I'm paying per year (under $30 via deals here).
Agreed, ultimate is a better value. Most my favorite games are PlayStation exclusives though, so overall I still prefer PlayStation. Do you use xCloud or game pass on your PC? I don't have a gaming PC - just a PS5, PS4, and Switch. I'd consider trying xCloud if it works well, but am hesitant to commit to streaming games.

I do not use Xcloud on PC. It's still in the beta on PC and I did not receive an invite to participate. I have used it on a tablet and it worked relatively fine to play Forza (racing game). I don't know that I would play a twitch (small t) game like Celeste or something.

I got into Wreckfest on PC and got some friends playing and I loved it, had a blast with it. Like an anti-Gran Turismo with demolition derby modes added on. Had no idea there was even a PS5 version in the works until about 2 minutes ago, and now it's coming out Tuesday and is free. Just wish more of the friends I play with on PC had PS5's.

Hopefully there will be an influx of people to play online with. I do recall only seeing a couple good servers to join the last few times I played, and one of them had some sort of rule where they frowned on my bumper car style of play. Think I got booted for using my car like a missile just destroying a guy who was slowing down to make a sharp turn. Multiple times. Basically I don't use brakes when there are other cars on the road that can be my brakes. Some people just drive backwards when they fall far behind just to cause mayhem. I'm all for that too, and I bet there will be a bunch of antics when new people start checking this out next week. Excited for this.
Lmao sounds like the game for me

Same - sub-$30/year for PS+ and free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via Microsoft Rewards is the way to go.

I find it strange how all of these games, minus BF, have been on my Steam list for a while waiting for a sale and they all have stellar reviews, and when they come to PS Plus, some people call it trash or boring? I get it's your opinion, but they have good ratings and they are very well known on the PC side.

Because the community only want AAA single player third person narrative based game. I feel Sony is also playing into that, and cultivating it so it is no wonder their community goes in that direction.

You aren't the only one, bud. I'll never spend another cent on PS Now. 90% of the games it features end up being PS Plus games a month or two later.

I advise everyone to give wreckfest a shot. I have many friends who hate racing games, but love wreckfest just based on how fun it can be to play like a complete asshat and intentionally destroy people.

Stranded Deep is a horrible game. It looks great, but it's one of the worst games I've played in a very long time. Excited to play Wreckfest and not having to use the disk for BF:V.
Funny. I bought BFV when it first came out and it was easily the worst shooter I've ever played. It was so bad that I actually gave it away to a coworker who planned to give it to her nephew.

But you're still playing it?
