RbK 753 from costco for $430 or 3x this for $450?

I see key differences are dual band vs tri-band and ax6000 vs ax4200

This seems like a good router. Any experience of it with Comcast? Thinking about buying one.

There seems to be a bit of linksys haters but honestly I love it. Super simple to set up and use. Great reach and speed and ive never had an issue with my 7 linksys products. I've had issues with Asus, d-link and a couple others but never linksys.

It was on sale for the longest time...i guess it just ended...they've had the same sale at least 2x in the past so it's bound to come back, maybe cheaper too because they will eventually release 6e

Where are you seeing the RBK753 for $430?

I think the reviews of the Linksys are bad enough to avoid the hassle of connecting 3 together in a mesh setup, all without the dedicated backhaul channel you would get from the Orbi.

It's doubtful that it ever will since it seems to be built on a Broadcom chipset. Broadcom is notoriously bad for making open source drivers available. Qualcomm chipsets are typically your best bets for open source firmware compatibility.

You will need to set up this router behind your AT&T RG (Residential Gateway) and set the AT&T RG to put this router in DMZ+ mode. Basically you attach this router to your AT&T router and configure a few things. The AT&T RG is required for authentication and can't be removed from the chain (without getting fancy).
