I've had the Fenix 3 since 2015 and it's been a fantastic watch. Is there any reason to upgrade to this newer one, or are the differences miniscule? I'm guessing it won't be long before the Fenix 6 starts to drop in price as well.

I know it was unbelievable. Jumped on it as soon as i saw it on google shopping. Looked too good to be true so bought online and picked up from my local store. They had in stock. I bought both watches one with red nylon belt for myself and second with rose gold bezel for wife. They also have $25 off 99+ codes.

He got it on the Kay website. I don't think it's worth the hunt anymore. I've looked at that site for 2 weeks straight. The only Fenix 6 I saw was the one with the red band for 450. It's been sold out for weeks. Sometimes it will say its back in stock and it will let me proceed to checkout only to be cancelled later. I think the best buy at the moment is the 5 plus sapphire or grabbing a cheap fenix 5 from Amazon Warehouse deals for around 200 if you find one.

I've had one for ages. The aluminum case got scratched up in a bicycle crash, but it still works fine and 3 years later battery is still pretty damn good. I used to use it as my smart/fitness watch and cycling computer, but switched the latter function to a full on Garmin Edge 1030 (Climb Pro for the win) I might not have done that if I got the largest face.

To that point, keep in mind what size watch face you will need. Yes the 51 is BIG, but makes it far more useful if you're going to cycle with it too.

Possible. You can also just go visit nearby store and ask them if they have anything in stock and also ask them if they can check if any of the nearby stores have them in stock. Because they display all watches but for smartwatch like Garmin they don't even power on, they sometime have in stock but may not report to website. For me, they misplaced the original box for red nylon watch and they called another store to get me one with the box in next couple days. They still allowed me to keep one without box while they receive boxed one from another store in couple days.

I'm a 3HR owner, love it..though for me a Sapphire lens is a big deal. when I'm not running...I'm rough on a watch (I was doing demo this past weekend.). 4.5 Years and going strong (albeit only a few days on a charge now).

FWIW, I live near a Jackrabbit retail store. Legit company and great shop!
