Just an FYI I have several 20V tools and batteries. I got a couple of these 1.3 aH batteries and thought meh whatever maybe I will sell them since I have several 5aH and larger ones. Then I discovered I love them they last for 90% of household jobs and the lighter slimmer format makes a notable difference making it easier to handle the tool. Just thought I would share since last time I saw a tool set come up with these batteries there were a few people that crapped on them.
today is Monday(5/3).... I was just at my local Lowe's and remembered this deal.
They still had one left in the Dewalt cage. It had a yellow price sticker showing $99. I decided to buy it first and think about it later, much later.
So.... before I open it up.... I assume that this is a good deal at $99. However, is the drill any good for occasional use? Very occasional, as in once a month at most....
Called a few of my local stores. The deal is no longer available online, but a nearby store has this bundle in stock for the price listed here. Just have to find it.
you know, this ain't a bad deal for a second drill. sometimes handy to have two to save tool changes.
Heck, I'd argue that if you need one you almost always need two. Going from two brushed drills to a brushless drill + brushless impact driver was a game-changer by itself; going from one drill to two will change your world if you're doing anything but hanging stuff on the wall twice a year.
