Nice deal for a midrange convertable. Aluminum built, however 4+ lbs weight. Only has fingerprint and not IR camera. Top of the line NVMe SSD, replaceable however RAM is soldered and is dual channel (8+8).

Actually most of the 2-in-1 15.6 convertibles weight over 4 lbs. The other two being HP Envy 15 x360 and Inspiration 15 7000 2-in-1 and both weights around 4.20 lbs.

My lenovo yoga c940 died in its 11th month. Mother board fried for no reason. This is a remote incident but just putting it out there. I am happy with the service and have 4 years of service plan, but its just frustrating.
Be sure to get extra years warranty. No need for next day service since parts shipped for replacement will take over a week anyway. As for me new parts shipped for services include pretty much everything under the hood, brand new. The package arrived yesterday a week after service ticket. The inhome repair person has yet to call me.
Edit: in home service scheduled for today...yay.

What are the prices on them? You need to compare laptops in similar price range, not somethings which are apart by couple of hundred dollars. Lenovo also has some very thin and light laptops and 2-in-1 but as I mentioned, with similar spec, they costs several hundreds more.

I'm simply replying to your comment "actually most of the 2-in-1 15.6 convertibles weight over 4 lbs" so that people have options. I'm not comparing anything. No need to get antagonistic.
This or ASUS - ZenBook Flip 15 Q538EI which is going in and out of stock at Best Buy for $1199 again?
That is a complete different class of Laptop altogether because that has a GTX 1650 / GTX 1650 Ti for the FHD/4K model respectively, far bigger 96 WHr battery. If you need graphics power and getting the 4K OLED model with GTX 1650 Ti at $1200, definitely go for that. You can even opt for the cheaper 1080P model with GTX 1650 which goes around $900 sometimes.

Avoid the mail-in repair depot if at all possible. They will simply keep your laptop until they receive a bulk shipment of an necessary parts from China, and put you off and make excuses in the meantime. You are right that "next day onsite" repair is meaningless except for large corporate clients. Find a local carry-in repair facility, if you can.

There are not many 15" laptops that weigh less than 4lb...

Yes I would rather not mail in for repair. All new parts (motherboard, battery, charger) were shipped to me directly and repair person came in next day. Very polite and fixed it. He kind of yanked out the speaker wire and broke it, but ordered the new speaker, which will be mailed to me. The repair guy will come back once I get the speaker in mail. Over all I am very happy with my Lenovo c940. I would buy it again. Every once in a while, one is bound to get lemons in life.
