Maybe you should have read the deal cause that is not what it says --- before leaving neg comments you should at least know what the actual deal is and is not.

Love shipt, thanks OP. Does anyone know if it works for current members to add on to established accounts?

Does it work like last year's deal, where you could use this as a credit?

I think I have to agree with the poster that it's like paying $99 for a $50 gift card. I am by now a permanent instacart customer. Pandemic or not, I am not going back to do groceries, here in Bay area. The shipt literally doesn't have any useful store other than Target. I am surprised at the audacity of asking money without any justification.
To each their own.

I like it because it's singular and plural, which makes it incorrect?

Shipt offers same-day delivery. You essentially pay $50 for this benefit. Target also regularly puts additional coupons for shipt delivery. Target is useful for nonperishable home purchases.

Item number/DCPI is same as last year's deal. But looks like they took out the language saying you can redeem as Shipt credit if you have an existing membership.
I'll take a gamble on Sunday and report back.
Per last year's deal, 1-2 GCs per day or every other day. Use shipt.com/redeem instead of the GC link.

Anyone subscribe to both Amazon prime and Shipt Target? Any benefits of having Shipt on top of Amazon?

Very tempting. I used the trial for shipt and it the availability to get frozen/cold items is great. Even though its handful of store, target carries pretty much everything nowadays. There has been issues with items that show in stock but the shopper cant locate or is OOS when they get there. But its the same issues with instacart and you dont pay the absurd 10-20% higher prices for each item.

You do know that Shipt works with Safeway, right? You know, the grocery store chain with the most stores (by far) in the Bay Area?

By the way, it's not like Instacart is getting your groceries delivered for free. You either pay $99 for a membership (same as Shipt), or $3.99 every time you shop. So if you get groceries from Instacart at least twice a week, you are already paying them over $99.

Now, you may prefer Instacart's wider retailer selection--I certainly do! But it's plain incorrect to say that "it's like paying $99 for a $50 gift card" if you use the service (and if you don't, why are we even discussing this?!). A more accurate way to put it is that this makes the membership $49 as long as you shop at Target.

Instacart does not deliver to me. :-(

Nor do many other services. Doordash just started. I am about 3 miles too far out.
