I just realized that I have been using cat5 Ethernet cables for a few of my devices and I figured it was time for an upgrade.
Cat8 seems to be the best available plus it's backwards compatible and it won't become obsolete for quite a while it appears. Cat8 isn't that much more expensive either than standard cat6a cable thanks to this sale so I figured I should stock up.
I quickly realized how much I hate crimping my own cables shortly after doing it. Wish the 14ft was still in stock
This is just informational. You can use Cat8 with typical RJ45 connectors and it'll work fine.
