I placed an order yesterday (05/04/2021) and was able to get it to process for the 256gb Green model- it was shortly placed into "Backorder" status, before today showing back in stock, moving to processing. By 3:00p EST my order was cancelled out of the blue- contacting their support was generally a "pound sand, order at MSRP" response. They claimed my card issuer flagged the purchase- contacted them and was told that no such hold was placed.

I've seen posts on Reddit and other boards stating they've had issues over the years with them pulling this; best of luck to those who order, and I hope you get your order fulfilled. If you don't mind me, I'm going to go nosh on some sour grapes in the corner.

Many states do not charge taxes on groceries. The commissary was not competetively priced where we were (KS,SC) so I guess your experience may vary depending on the cost of living of the locality. Parents shave veterans benefits now and they still don't shop there. *shrug.

There are quite a few places now, including where I work, that have a PX/commissary but nearly no active duty and thousands of CIVs. I think this will help bolster those sites, a bit.

I am in the same boat as mine showed in stock and processing. Later to be back ordered. Today shows processing again. Really hope it doesn't get cancelled before sale is over so I can at least get another color.

How long from order till you received tracking? Did they email asking for verification or did you have to call bc it stayed in processing stage too long?

AAFES will price match the big box retailers and Amazon. They have a retailer price match list on their website. So a win with no taxes.
