No real way for anyone to know, it would just be a guess at this point. Hopefully the date listed is still accurate, not sure how many people are actually buying iPads through Costco or how many they're receiving from Apple for their initial batch of stock.

Same here, I bought 2 10.5 Pros at Walmart on clearance, but that was a different world, and i was lucky to find them in stock even at that time for so cheap.

Price gouging is now rampant during this pandemic. It's only going to get worse.

I just checked Apple's upgrade system and my 10.5 Pro was valued at $295. That is not enough for me to jump to an $800 iPad.

Looks like I will be rocking my 10.5 Pro for quite some time. I don't care. it is still a great iPad.

I would say the encouraging data point is that the real popular iPads, 12.9"/1TB/2TB are now gone from the page. So they do seem to update the pages and availability. That said I've have had Costco shipments delayed due to supply issue.

ahh I think the reason I didn't include that benefit in my accounts list is because I have Costco and they don't take Discover. At least, the store doesn't. I forget that I can use it online, I rarely purchase from their online store.

Kinda miffed I missed out on that extra 3%. I only got 2% with my Citi Costco Visa. I thin I'll chat them tomorrow and see if they can change the credit card billing

$698 ipad pro 11 and that's including NJ tax and shipping and not including 5% cashback with Discover. That makes it I $665. Sell your 10.5 on fb you could get more than $300, $400 I guess easy, at least. that makes total cost to you about $250 to upgrade to the latest model. With chip shortages not going away prices will stay high. The M1 laptop chip in a tablet ipad pro will maintain value better than the 10.5 going forward. In two years not many people will want to buy a 5 year old ipad unless it's very cheap.

And then of course you get to enjoy having a brand new device that you'll use for the next few years.

I find it hard to believe that 12.9" 1-2TB models priced at $1800 and $2200 are selling like hot cakes. It's quite possible that they had very limited number of those available.
