If I had known about it a few days ago I would have gotten it. It wasn't any problem to get the $50, he said they can't even do the $100 anymore, it's not in their system, the link is gone. I just did the chat and he said he would give me the $50 and then gave me a code in the chat, forgot how long it was good for, think until the 21st maybe. The return window is 90 days so maybe if they issue another $100 I might be able to get the additional $50 back, not sure.

What I am hearing, even though they got shipped Apple instructs UPS to not deliver it before the launch date, which is 21st May in this case.
Now question is, how quickly the stock reaches over to Costco and so that they can start their own processing.

Costco page still says "Order now for expected ship week of 5/24/21". Wonder if they really ordered more from Apple than the preorders they received... or they just never updated the actual status after the preorder began.

Due to the $100 off coupon code, plus the already sale price of $50 off, I paid for the expedited shipping. I'll keep everyone posted if it actually matters in this case. I have a feeling that these ipads will all ship around the same time and arrive around the same time, negating the benefits of paying extra for expedited.
