Just spoke with a customer service rep on chat. The product will be shipped during the week of 5/24. They don't know exactly what day but it will be send out during that week if your order has "shipping 5/24". Once it ships you can track it on ups for both home delivery and warehouse pick up.

That sounds about right. That's exactly what the product page says and what we signed up for. I don't understand the "Prime Now" expectation.

My main question was whether the release date was sliding, similar to Apple. Especially for high demand products where some interest stores aren't able to accurately reflect stock. I've never ordered anything through Costco, nor pre-ordereed through them so I just wanted a little bit more clarification.

Now even the embargo is up, still no update from Costco.
Did anybody notice any change in their order status?
If it ships today, then only we can expect it to deliver by 21st.

In response to the above comments..my IPad Pro order from Apple is still in shipped status (via UPS) and last update was ZhengZhou, China last Friday. Supposed to be here 5/21.I have no issue taking this back if there are any major delays.

I don't understand why people who ordered from Costco are currently expecting their iPads to be shipped. If you ordered from Costco, the product page said "Order now for expected ship week of 5/24/21."

It is not yet the week of 5/24.

And next week, when it is the week of 5/24, I interpret the Costco statement to mean that iPads may ship on any day during that week. Which means it may ship after 5/24, like 5/29 for example, since technically that is still the "week of 5/24/21."

Nowhere did Costco state that iPads will be shipped on or before 5/24.

Just bunch of people discussing if by chance we can get our pre orders early, seeing how delivery date for apple changed, we were hoping same thing for Costco that's all.
Thanks for educating us, that it's not week of 05/24, trust me all of us while placing order did read that, it's just we are bunch of impatient person just hoping our shipping date change as well.
Nobody is whining, we are just collaborating to check if there is any change in order status how it's happening with direct apple pre order
