Have they made a Kasa 3 way dimmer set yet? I've been waiting for that set for years now.
Like other people have said it is coming soon but you really don't need it. You have 2 options.

Put a normal 3 way dimmer and a smart 3 way (non dimmer) on the circuit. This way you can turn on and off with voice and have the option to manually dim.

The other option is to put a single pole dimmer and remove the 3 way completely. (You can fill in the outlet with a blank faceplate). You never end up pushing the switches anyway because voice is so much easier so 3 way is unnecessary.

Super excited for this release! Been waiting for a while now. Most of the lighting in our hallways, kitchen, living room all have 3 way switches and recessed lighting so its much easier to swap out the switches than each indv bulb

Just moved into a new house and is starting my home automation journey. This should work perfectly for my kitchen and living room to start with. Thanks OP!

Hopefully it works well with LED bulbs. I know dimmer switches and LEDs can be hit or miss.
I've been ok with bulbs other than candelabra. Tried like 7 or 8 different bulbs. I gave up and put in 1 incandescent with 2 leds in a 3 bulb ceiling fan.

I also use these with flood lights outside and had to remember to stay under 150W LED.

Is this only for one order? Added 3 to cart and only $5 off applied. Doing this for the whole house. Great with timers for restroom and Google integration.

I have 8 of these. I think... And a few of their non dimmable brothers. All work flawlessly. How dim you can get with an LED fixture depends on your bulbs. I have some that dim all the way down, others maybe dim to 30 percent. This can be adjusted via the app to some extent. It's the same behavior with a standard dimmer so it's really the LEDs fault.

Also funny that these cost a bit less than a standard Lutein/Leviton dimmer...

also have a few of these, plus a few of the TP Link bulbs, a TP link Deco M9 mesh sytsem, outdoor smart plug, standard smart plugs and a few of the cameras. The cameras are just ok. not sure I would reccomend but the switches are all great. Looking to install more as needed.

By timer, you mean I can have the light s turn on for a specific amount of time Incase I forget to turn it off? I just purchased these for my kitchen and some motion sensor ones for bathroom and closets with an on/off override. But now that I know you can do a timer with it... I'm trying to think if I should cancel the motion sensor ones and buy another set of these.

In my experience, LED performance is hit and miss: for one set of bulbs there was decent dimming but a noticeable "motion blur" at low brightness. On my recessed can lights they do not dim very low and when low they behave weirdly. Finally, on another set of bulbs, Cree e12, they dim very low but have an audible hum basically anywhere below 50% and one of those bulbs got burned out withing 6 months.

That being said these are great entry level smart switches with excellent local control, but like others said, their performance really depends on your specific bulbs, which is kinda annoying since, AFAIK, TP-Link does not have a compatibility list for these switches.

What do you do when a room has 2 switches (one on either side of the room that control the same lights). Do I replace each switch one of these or is there something else

You would need a 3 way switch.

I just installed 4 of these on dimmable lights and so far they have been great.
