Amazon reviews complain about DC power brick not being included. I 'member when Amazon Basics wasn't complete crap, now it's sold on Woot with it's bad Amazon reviews not being linked.
The good:
A USB-C power adapter is able to power this hub fully. All ports work -- USB-A, Ethernet, audio, HDMI, DisplayPort. This is on a Dell Inspiron which supports DP Alt Mode on the Thunderbolt USB-C port.
It's a full metal case that's quite hefty. Should be no issues with heat dissipation.
The bad:
4k is limited to 30Hz. Tested on both HDMI and DP outputs. Anyone know how to get 4k 60Hz out of this?

LG Ultra HD 4k monitor
I get 4k 60Hz out of this setup using the Dell Thunderbolt TB15 dock. Thumbed through the Amazon Basics dock manual and it says the max output is 4k 30Hz for the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. It's a shame because it has a sturdy all-metal case and lots of ports. I'll use it for the non-4k systems around here.
