The Series 7 may add some form of glucose monitor which will be huge if it's close to being accurate. The Series 6 is really good, but that sensor… even the rumor of it, is enough to keep me from picking one up.

Has anyone done trade in? It says up to $150 off but not sure what series would be allowed. I have a worthless series 2 that still works Smilie

Agreed. I'm going to wait for more info/announcements re: series 7 before I pull the trigger on anything.

Dude, I have a series 0 that still works (and a 3, and the 5 I'm currently wearing). They'll give you something for any generation, but suffice it to say that your S2 will probably return less value than a comparable S3.

What can glucose monitor on a watch be useful for?

I also have a series 2. I just checked on the Best Buy site & they'll give you $40 trade-in value for a good condition series 2.

Depending on accuracy, it's huge for people with diabetes, those who are at risk of getting diabetes, and I'm sure many other situations.

They're also rumored to be re-designing the watch case (though I think it looks great currently).

That's what I figured would have been the main thing which would be great for diabetics. I doubt they would redesign since that rumor has been going on for years. Maybe for their 10th anniversary like the iPhone.

some of you are talking about a glucose monitor on the next iwatch and I highly doubt that. if they really are gonna have a glucose monitor built into the watch I'm about to buy all I can in apple stock.

Not as good of a deal as the 40mm was, but all colors of the 44mm series 6 are $50 off at Best Buy. Take what we can get.

Exactly. This is 52% more expensive for a 10% bigger screen. The 40mm deal was a slick deal for sure for $249.

No, the 44mm version screen is about 29% bigger than the 40mm version, 759 sq mm vs 977 sq mm. The 44mm version is also wider by 4mm compared to the 40mm version, which makes a huge difference in size.

I was tempted by yesterday's deal, but ultimately I'm glad I passed on it. The red color / band is not ideal and the 40mm size is too small compared to the 44mm size. It's more suited for women and children than most adult men. A watch is something you wear almost every day, and I'd rather get something I love and spend a little extra, rather then get something I regret just to save a little bit of money.

That's 10% extra off of the difference between the prices, your comment is somewhat misleading.

Yup! I was in that scenario with the SE watch for $250 and I didn't like it. The aluminum kind influenced me to be extra careful with the watch for silly reason.

Then...

I Found me the Series 6 44mm Graphite Stainless Steel with LTE for $500. Happy camper now! I can relax and not worry about the accidental contact with the wall, wherever and whenever. And there the appeal from the outside as well.

The Stainless Steel watch is truly Worth the premium! I

Funny, I did kinda wish I got the Series 5 Stainless steel for $379 just to save me $ HOWEVER that was the 40mm. Then I realized they size versus 44mm is too puny and unmasculine for me so here I am!
