Not sure why we need either Costco or Sams club posted here. Everyone that's a member can and do get these in the mail… I got this one last week. That's unless you "live in a van down by the river", then OK.
You're going to offend the Costco fanbois with that comment

awful ad, retailers are passing on manufacturers inflated prices for everything.
literally every electronics in this ad was cheaper a year ago! some of this is not covid related, just plain corporate greed!
You need to go to page 7 and take advantage of the deal on crying towels. Then read current events on semiconductor shortages, shipping container shortages, increased demand, and wait for it a 25% import duty exemption that expired 12/31/2020.
"manufacturers inflated prices" of course they are. That's how it works. They're not going to reduce their profit margins.
Do you have any idea what the margins are for a store like Sam's? They're razor thin.
I don't think their profit margins are as thin as you're implying. Yeah, Sam's has some famous loss leaders (e.g., their cafe, rotisserie chicken, sometimes their gasoline), but their profits from memberships alone can be astonishing, especially when people don't use their membership that often. I've broken down the "savings" you get for plenty of products that ends up being more per ounce/pound than at a conventional grocery store, especially if the other store has that product on sale.
