Would this be good for a business? Looking into using something I already own for her to start a business venture or something brand new.

My Omen 25L with r5 3500 16g 256g 3070 from mar.20 still not in production. Cancellation is in real hassle, wish I had not ordered it directly from hp.

3060 TI is more expensive, but at least you would have an unlocked GPU for mining.
$400 more plus you get a Ryzan 7 5800X.

Is mining as simple as opening a program and letting it run 24/7? I heard you can get 400 bucks a month just by doing that.

I picked up today from my local Best Buy this CyberPowerPC Desktop AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 - 1TB SSD. Paid $1599-10% off coupon...$1440
And...I think it's a better machine and a value for your money!
Came with MSI 3070 2 fan GPU

It takes 5 minutes to set-up if you know what you are doing, 45-60 minutes if not. Likely not $400/month (until ETH hits like $5k). I'm at around $700-800 with 2 5700xt's, 3060ti, and 3090. 3060ti is about $4.25/day, but it'll be decreasing in July due to EIP 1559 and then killed eventually by ETH 2.0 next year (don't count on mining to pay off system).

Anyone know if the 5600G has performance limitations when combined with a discrete GPU?

As I recall, Tom's Hardware discovered that the Ryzen 3300X (4C/8T) was better than the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G (8C/16T) when gaming with a RTX 2080 Ti at 1080p due to the 4750G having half the L3 cache of the 3300X. Also the 5600X has 32 MB L3 cache; while, the 5600G has 16 MB L3 cache.

Just FIY I bought two weeks ago a R12 3080 from Dell for $1600. It said it would ship out in a month in a half. It's coming in on Monday. Keep that in mind. There are deals to be had.
Sounds like a gigo

Just bought this and the 3060ti. I'll slap my rx580 8gb and 1070 in it and sell them. As for the cards I'll try to mine with it to pay it's self off

Now that I think about it, even if you run the numbers you could buy a scalped 3060 (in the design you want) and build a PC with higher quality parts than this for almost the same price.

~$800 for 3060
$300 for 5600x (no igpu and slightly different clock speeds)
~$100-$150 b550 mobo
~$50-$100 better case
~$50-$100 better PSU
~$50-$100 better cooling
~$60-$80 better ram
~$50-$100 for nvme gen 3 storage, ~$150 for 1tb gen 4.

Though I'd suggest getting an i5-10400 or i5-11400 (~$140-$200 depending on deals) and cheap b560 since it is a much better value.

With this Omen, you get a case, mobo, and psu with basically no resale value. You get an unknown brand 3060/3060 Ti. You get slower ram. I can't see anything that says it is PCIe Gen 4 storage or if the motherboard is compatible to get things like resizable BAR, etc.

The fact that you can pay a scalper and STILL get near the price while picking higher quality components makes this sit in a strange place value wise.

The 3060 Ti goes for $1100-$1200 from scalpers. 5800x can be had for $450 (or a few bucks less on a good day) so the value is a LITTLE better there.

I just talked myself out of this as I wanted a second PC, but I could just build one without proprietary, bad warranty, bullshit AND still pay a scalper.

HP is garbage. I bought one with rtx 3090 from Nov 2020 sale and the stupid thing shuts down from overheating when playing csgo. It is loud af.
I also have the one with rtx 3090. I had to open the gpu and replace the thermal pads and the paste. I added some copper heat sinks on top of the card and one more fan. If you do that, make sure you use thermal double side tape for better heat transfer.
It did dropped the temps by a lot.
See youtube how to do it.
My pc took 2 months to be deliverd by the way.

Never give in to the scalpers.
