Galaxy S20 plus not updating

3,563 2,075 May 1, 2021 at 04:57 AM Sprint
I have an S20 plus for roughly 10 months. Sprint locked. About 3/4 months ago I received a new SIM from Tmobile called TNX and was told to call to do a SIM swap so I can connect to Tmobile towers for "improved" reception. Not only the reception is worse but my issue for starting this thread is my device does not seem to find any software updates. Last security update was on february 7th.And it is also on UI 3.0. Ever since then, whenever I check for OTA updates I come up with a "your software is up to date" which can't be true because according to the tmobile software update log it shows at least 3 other updates have been released for this device on march 21 (UI 3.1) on april 1st and on april 25th and I also have a galaxy A50 which is curently on the april patch running UI 3.1. The S20 is supposed to be a flagship device and somehow it is lagging behind an A50? I contacted Sprint and was a waste of time like always. Wondering if anyone else out there has any ideas. Appreciated

How about that. It worked. Swapping temporarily to a inactive sprint sim immediately found the latest update. I'm curious as to where to go from here since obviously I swapped back to active tmo sim. Neither sprint nor tmobile have a clue as to what I should do in the near future as updates continue. Imma keep that sim handy for now. Thanks. Reps.

One of the wonders of the VERY screwed up system we have for Android based phone software updates. Glad it worked.
