How do you do a cold brew with regular drip ground coffee? Don't you need coarser grind for cold brew? I've been doing a Moka and a Lavazza machine. With the summer approaching trying to find a cheaper way to make cold coffee.
I get an occasional ground here and there but there's actually some evidence [coffeeinformer.com] that consuming grounds can be good for you; Turkish Coffee is a good example of this...
I find that Folgers [amazon.com] has the best cost to taste ratio when it comes to making cold brew and is reliably affordable. Sales do appear from time to time though and it's always nice to try the more expensive stuff.
Overall, making cold brew can be pretty expensive but Folgers makes it bearable; especially if you are a cheap basterd like me. Cheap & Proud!

Thanks for the links. Will give them a read. Right now I'm doing lavazza blue pods. Snagged a few boxes and it's 23c a cup for me at this time.
Moka works well for me. Barring the cleaning. I'm lazy. And I consume more coffee as I have a 6 cup Moka.
I want to try mixing this up a little. I don't intend to invest in a cold brew machine at this time. Planning to just get some cheap muslin and a sieve to filter the grounds.
I received my five-star S&S shipment yesterday and the brew by date is 8/12/21.
The New Orleans blend is a DARK roast... most people from Louisiana prefer their Community Coffee dark.
Community is NOT finely ground.
