Looks like you can use coupon code SAVE12 and sign up for Dell Rewards at check out. Excellent deal. Just bear in mind that with Alienware the RAM might be soldered so no upgrade possible.

The price to Performance for gaming on this laptop is simply unbeatable if you're shopping for a 17". Just downright silly for this price. Keep in mind this laptop actually doesn't have nvidia optimus so it'll get 1.5 hr battery life if that's a concern to you, as well as soldered ram. The laptop is also on the lighter side for 17"s(still heavy) unlike MSI.

Got a m17r4 360 screen lunar 16gb ram and 1tb raid zero open box for around 2k. This is slightly cheaper, so I'm returning.

Was able to get one for $1412(business has stackable 5% off codes) plus 2% cash back and the 3070 is 140w which is about the max you can get for a 3070 mobile.

dame it just purchased the same spec for $1740 a week ago and it has not shipped yet. Do you guys think I get get some kind of partial refund or cancel order and place it again? we are talking about $250 diff here so want to save some here Smilie

I've had the connectors oxidize and had to re-seat the RAM in a couple of laptops. Yes, even with gold contacts on the socket. So it may be for better reliability. Odd that they aren't offering any other memory options so they overcharge for them though.

Take a screenshot of the new price with the configuration. Dell has a 30 day price match from the invoice date. Tell them in chat or phone you want the difference back.

This laptop is a beast, the GPU isn't a crappy 80w card like most, keyboard is killer, screen is amazing, and SSD upgrades are easy. Only complaint is battery life is a joke but who cares with the power you get.
