"A one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer (with a co-payment of more than $10 but less than $50)"

I'm very puzzled by that one.... let's say someone wants to buy a $300 laptop... so there's a $100 discount... but then what's this copay "less than $50"?

any ideas?

thanks! Smilie

I take it that means the total price cannot be over $150. That is, they want you buy a piece of junk.

Is this a permanent discount like Internet essentials or just temporary until the pandemic is over?

"Due to the temporary nature of the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program, we encourage you to apply as soon as you can."

I assume this means it won't be permanent.

NOTE: The EBB Program is a limited benefit that will expire when the available appropriated funds are exhausted or six months after the Secretary of Health and Human Services declares an end of the COVID-19 health emergency.
