I'm not sure if this is available everywhere, but I do see that it's available for shipping, so it might be. This is a good way to get RTX 3080 now as I can pick it up tomorrow.

Specs on cooling system say 'air' but pictures show liquid. Any thoughts?
In the QandA section Dell support clarified it is air cooled
How much of a deal killer is this?
My unsophisticated googling suggests air cooling is fine for 3080 with the proper case / fans / air flow

From reading in this setup and case liquid is what is wanted. finding lots of complaints of issues.... high temps lots of noise etc

With air cooling on the CPU, this is a tough sell at the already elevated pricing.

Even if it is liquid cooled 120mm AIOs are notoriously awful, and usually worse than a good air cooled cpu. This PC looks like a heat box. I'd never put a scorching hot 3080 in this oven. However, you could sell that 3080 for $2K and then keep the ram and CPU for another build.

An F-series processor with a 3080. Yeah, no.
If you get a game that needs more CPU power, you're going to hate not having the K-series.
Can you name a AAA game which is CPU bound at modern resolutions and framerates (40k/60 or 2.6k/120)?

The case's a toast inside, you have to remove the hdd socket, and put an extra fan for the intake. Might as well replace the aio fan with add'n of another one for the output but that might forfeit the warranty. I just replaced front fan and added another one on hdd slot with arctic P12, and I already got 10 degree C dropped on CPU. PS I'm with R7 5800(non x).

Yeah, this is one of the best deals on a 3080 I've seen in a while. You are basically getting the computer for $200.

Seriously, the gpu sells on eBay for 2k by itself and people are whining that the 11th gen i7 is an F and not a K spec ROFL.
