FYI: "Features" specs culled from Archer's C7 AC1750, not A7.

Have an a7 v5 no WDS options
This is super weird. I have an A7 on my desk, configured with WDS, but I just opened up settings and I can't see the WDS options. I'm wondering if it was removed in the most recent firmware update, because I can't find it. Could you try an older firmware to see if that enables it?

Edit: actually after googling, it says the 'advanced' menu disappears after it's in access point mode. So I guess after you setup WDS, you can't easily access your WDS settings without switching the operating mode back to 'Router Mode'. Are you in Router Mode? If you go to Advanced, then System Tools > Administration, do you see WDS there?

Can i use this router to replace the modem come from ATT Fiber? So i can avoid $10 monthly fee.
Thanks
Generally AT&T modems are modem/router combinations. You could call and see if they have an option for a modem only, but they sure do love tacking that $10/month on your bill.

Single data point: Bought this exact item last time and it's clearly well used and worn, with sticker residues, etc. Feels pretty cheaply made too.

Don't expect a mint unit.

This is a router, you will still need a modem.

Picked one up, should be an upgrade from the 15+ year old router I've been using since college.

Good deal in a solid router. I'm running DD-WRT on mine with all the bells and whistles. The only drawbacks to this router are that you're probably not going to get the full bang for your buck if you have a 500+ mbits plan.
How did you install DD-WRT? Was it with the latest firmware? I couldn't install any third party firmware.

Maybe just an issue with mine, but I couldn't get over 300mbs on the gig ports (I have a 400mbs plan). I have dd-wrt running on it as well. Swapped it out with my brothers old Asus and and my speed was as advertised.

Can I use this as an access point with a linksys router? I just need something to repeat the network so devices can jump between them depending on signal strength
it can be used as an access, point not a,repeater so you will need a way to wire,it to the router if you do not have a,way to do that look up Ethernet over power technology (not power over Ethernet, big difference)

Did you speedtest it with stock TP-Link firmware as well? I know with some other routers, if you loaded on DD-WRT, you lost hardware-accelerated NAT which would slow down LAN speeds.

I normally don't comment but I had issues with this router as it had dropped connection to my devices. I ended up getting a Netgear Nighthawk wifi 6 and haven't looked back.
I'm having the same issue after using it for more than 9 months.

Yup update mine it must have disappeared. I have 2 of them. One is still in the box. Will check the gui when I get to it. Maybe revert to old firmware or upload DDWRT whic will have the WDS feature

Edit:::sorry tldr on your response to confirm mine is setup as an AP so you must be right. It's pigtailing to a TPLink AX1800. Thanks for looking that up!
