These cabinets aren't made of MDF or any other type of wood. They are made of styrofoam. Super lightweight and fragile, will fall over and break with very little weight or pressure placed on them. From the description:

BUT - I would definitely coat the bottom of the feet with varnish - several coats - let them sink in.

Otherwise the particle board feet will get wet, suck in the water, and crumble.

I am not familiar with this material.

I hope you are right.

Sometimes the SURFACE is waterproof, but the core is not.

I bought this last time around. When I opened it I couldn't help but laugh at the material and build process. With the awkward small size of my bathroom and it being a perfect dimension to squeeze in between the wall and a cabinet it does its job very well and I'm happy with what I got for 20 bucks. Just don't make it focal point lol

We just got this for $17.99 a few days ago and it's fine for the price honestly. I wasnt expecting much, but I'm pleasantly surprised. More than good enough for its intended job.
A suggestion, be gentle with the tabbed pieces when assembling and when tightening the included screws. It's a bit narrow for fitting in more than one or two rolls of tp in the door area, on their sides, but my wife is happy with it and it fits the small space between the wall and the toilet just fine. Holds a couple bottles of cleaner on the bottom.
