A quick image search for Helio P60 tablet shows that the Hyundai has the same chassis as the Teclast M30 Pro [teclast.info], a well known 2nd tier tablet brand in China. The position, size and shape of the light/proximity sensor, front and rear camera, side buttons, speaker grills and ports are identical. Both use MediaTek Helix P60 SoC, has 4GB/128GB, Android 10, 1920x1200 resolution. Differences include: the Hyundai has pogo pin pads (vs none for Teclast), 7000mAh battery vs 7500mAh, 13/8MP rear/front cameras vs 8/5MP, 802.11ac WiFi vs .11n 5GHz, LTE bands geared toward North America vs. Europe/Asia. So it was not just a lazy rebadge job, but Hyundai had to pay a testing lab to get it FCC certified.

FCC ID for the Hyundai is 2AVTH-10LA1 [fccid.io] and there are internal/external photos.

I've considered buying Teclast tablets (first P20HD, now M40) for a while but have reservations about receiving a DOA or getting service (I believe Teclast has contracted with local repair service companies in some Europe countries but none in the USA). The Teclast M40 (with 6GB/128GB, Unisoc T618) is somewhat faster [notebookcheck.net] than the M30 Pro (and the Hyundai) and I've seen it for under $160 shipped from China (Bang_good for instance) or $178 sold by "Teclast USA Official Store" (whatever that is) and shipped by Amazon. I believe Teclast (or most China brands with no formal US presence) never FCC certified any of their tablets or laptops (which is required for most electromagnetic radiation emitting device like BT, WiFi, cellular/LTE) so all those gadgets getting sold on Amazon are probably illegal (not that I care for a bit).
Most US retail tablets with cellular capability cost $100+ more ($130 for Apple) than the WiFi non-cellular version. Unlike WiFi tablets, cell tablets rarely go on sale which makes the actual price difference even bigger. China tablets, other than the cheapest models, almost always come with cellular built-in, they don't disable phone calls on tablets like Apple/Samsung/etc, and phones with dual SIM slots are very common. Most China phones/tablets have cellular bands are geared toward Europe and Asia instead of North America though for various reasons.

LTE might not be usable for some

LTE: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 28, 39 Bands

Band 2 and 4 is used by some carriers, however there are many other bands this tablet is missing for US.

Interesting deal. I haven't had a tablet since my Asus transformer from 6-7 years ago. Do I need one now....? Decisions, decisions....
