Mainly people who dislike Apple, because this is a good sale. There are rumored problems with the SSD though. Supposedly it has been addressed, but it's still a cost-effective product.

Same price at Costco since April with 2 years warranty. You could extend it to 4 years for free with Costco Citi card.

Probably because the new one is about to come out, and Apple is notorious for throttling their old devices when a new model comes out, so that people will go and buy the new one.
There is no new Mac Mini coming out this year. Macs have never slowed down while aging while Windows laptops always slow down. That is why Macs have insane resale value.

Solid deal. Same price at Costco though where you get 2 years warranty standard which can be extended to 4 years if you use the Costco Visa card. But for those who are not Costco members this is a very good price on a very good product.

I hate Apple, but I gave a thumbs up and rep. I have family members who shouldn't be allowed within 10 feet of a windows PC.

How many remote/simultaneous users could connect and run efficiently on this? Would be only web, email and word documentation usage. I know windows RDP uses a lot of overhead usage per desktop but curious about MacOS.

Macs slow down. I have a 2012 Mac Mini that was too slow running macOS (even with an update to an SSD drive) so I installed Linux. It runs much faster now. I also have two 2014 iMacs that are too slow now so I don't use them much.

Macs historically have held their resale values much better than Windows computers though. These M1 Macs also offer incredible performance for what you pay.

No that's a good price. It's that people confuse not liking a brand for a determination of quality. That's why thumbs down should require comments. So many bad thumbs downs on this site that I just ignore them now.

Funny. I used to do the same for my more difficult friends and family members!

if you multitask w/ lots of browser tabs and apps, get the 16gb. I had the 8GB and it kept slowing down. swapped it out to the 16gb and it's smooth as can be now.

Your statement is just plainly wrong. If you do have evidence of what you claim link it, claiming false facts helps no one.
