Charge 4 is better then the Flip 5 by so far it's ridiculous. And yes, I have both. The amazing thing about JBL's Charge series is the ability to produce decent bass at low volumes. Something almost every other BT speaker in this size range and even bigger is completely incapable of doing.

FYI i was able to stack the MOTHERSDAY 10% off accessories code with the verizonup bonus reward $80 discount. I added the 10% code first (which appears to have taken off $18), then clicked add reward (so I dont know if this method only applies to actual verizon account holders as I did not input an actual $80 off code). I had claimed the verizonup bonus offer earlier in the week but did not redeem it until just now. $81.99 plus tax. Hoping I also get that 10% cash back. I dont forsee an issue since the MOTHERSDAY code was advertised on the cashback site. Hope this helps make it extra slick for verizon users.

I'm not able to replicate this deal as it still shows as $179. However, I'm not a Verizon customer.

I also prefer the Charge 4 over the 5 due to the better reviews. I believe the 5 is a mono speaker.

It's not really mono... It's a single stereo speaker on the 5 as opposed to left/right speakers on the 4...

You're both right. I was thinking of the Charge 3, which I have and love (not the 4).

I'm looking to pair two speakers together for stereo sound, so I'll likely pick up another Charge 3 unless I can get this deal.
