Charge 4 is better then the Flip 5 by so far it's ridiculous. And yes, I have both. The amazing thing about JBL's Charge series is the ability to produce decent bass at low volumes. Something almost every other BT speaker in this size range and even bigger is completely incapable of doing.

FYI i was able to stack the MOTHERSDAY 10% off accessories code with the verizonup bonus reward $80 discount. I added the 10% code first (which appears to have taken off $18), then clicked add reward (so I dont know if this method only applies to actual verizon account holders as I did not input an actual $80 off code). I had claimed the verizonup bonus offer earlier in the week but did not redeem it until just now. $81.99 plus tax. Hoping I also get that 10% cash back. I dont forsee an issue since the MOTHERSDAY code was advertised on the cashback site. Hope this helps make it extra slick for verizon users.

FYI i was able to stack the MOTHERSDAY 10% off accessories code with the verizonup bonus reward $80 discount. I added the 10% code first (which appears to have taken off $18), then clicked add reward (so I dont know if this method only applies to actual verizon account holders as I did not input an actual $80 off code). I had claimed the verizonup bonus offer earlier in the week but did not redeem it until just now. $81.99 plus tax. Hoping I also get that 10% cash back. I dont forsee an issue since the MOTHERSDAY code was advertised on the cashback site. Hope this helps make it extra slick for verizon users.

This worked for me - ordered $81.99 total. Had to add the MOTHERSDAY code first, then guessed codes by changing last 2 letters of CHARGE4JBL73OE. Checked out as guest.

JBL had the market cornered for a while with the Charge/Extreme when they first came out, but there are MUCH better options at the moment!

The Soundcore Motion+ is considered by most to be better in almost everyway to the Charge. Cleaner sound, MUCH louder, incredible app with adjustable EQ.

The Motion Boom (my go to portable speaker at the moment) is pretty much a larger version of the Motion+ with much more bass, but not quite as much clarity. The Motion Boom is considered by most in the know to sound much better than even the Extreme series, all the while selling for $80 on Amazon and sometimes even drops to $76. I will say the JBL models look and feel nicer, so if that's your thing then they might be worth it. But if all you want is sound, you shouldn't be buying the Charge, unless it sells for less than $70.

Disappointed that it doesnt have the party link that the recent FLip 5 deal had. Those speakers really suprised me, and with 2 begin able to so easily connect I just can't miss that feature. It's great for a portable outdoor listening experience!

I tried stacking the codes, but it's only giving me one or the other. Not both
