Extended warranty worth it for an item (floor scrubber) that will definitely break?

I keep looking at an all-in-one floor scrubber/wet vac that has separate clean and dirty water tanks. However, it doesn't seem to matter if you get an expensive Bissell or the generic Tineco, they all have an extreme amount of bad reviews, even the ones that say "this review was part of a sweepstakes/given at a discount" (on non-Amazon sites like Wal-Office-Depot-Buy where they have linked reviews from the brand website instead of reviews from their real customers )

https://www.amazon.com/Hoover-Flo...00CM220CK/
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07M5SND7X/

The Hoover FloorMate seems the worst, the motor isn't even water guarded and will eventually rust. The other two have a dishearteningly high number of "lose suction" "wouldn't turn on one day" reviews. Bissell and Hoover also have a lot of comments "they wanted me to take it to a service center 50 miles away" "the service center is waiting for an answer/parts from the company" "it couldn't be fixed" even in reviews from before the pandemic. This isn't 1950, these things aren't designed to be "fixable" anymore, "bring it in to be serviced" is just "make it as inconvenient as possible and hope they give up instead of making us replace it"

Would buying the extended warranty be worth it since if the product makes it past the warranty date (which actually seems rather unlikely) it still looks very much like a matter of "when" not "if" it breaks? I've always refused to buy them but this may be a case where it's actually worth it. Sadly there do not seem to be any alternatives, there's a few other Hoover models and I think one Shark but it doesn't have separate tanks. I need the pet version of the Crosswave because of the hair strainer and allegedly better hair roller. I wish I had a Costco near me because it's an exclusive item that has the features of both the regular and the pet models and $100 cheaper right now, but it's not worth getting a membership for a store that's 80 miles away since we already have a BJs membership for a store around the corner but they only have the non-pet model. I actually prefer the Hoover design because it has spinning brushes to scrub like a industrial/professional scrubbers instead of the carpet beater redesigned for hard floors. The Tineco looks like it has a lot of fake reviews, but overall doesn't really look any /worse/ than the other two, though I'd rather have a corded instead of waiting for something to recharge.

I hate it when a product simply doesn't have any reliable options no matter what brand you buy. Ran into the same issue with deep fry thermometers (all have a huge amount of reviews complaining about how inaccurate they are, from the $5 unbranded models to $25 ones from professional restaurant supply stores that look exactly the same) and XL reusable ice blocks ("used it once and it's already leaking" from Igloo to Yeti).
