Not a great price but good price .. Coming from a sleep solution specialist, this mattress is a good mattress for those looking to buy a medium firm type mattress. It has 900 coils which is a good amount and it comes with solid edge Control the only problem is it is not greatest option for side sleepers.

Are you referring to the one rated as 5 on the firmness scale? Listed as "plush" but not pillow top ?
Order from this site and be ready to wait for weeks after there expected delivery time .. 6 weeks and still my mattress not shipped and they keep telling me every week next week date to ship … .. actual delivery time was 2-3 weeks.
🤣 This mattress is as hard as a rock. I sold mattresses for enough years to know that this bed's comfort level, extra firm, is the most dissatisfied customer base in the industry.

I have order 4 times from the site this year. The first two, the shippers SUCKED and did not deliver on time, lots of issues, but still only took 3-4 weeks. The third time, 3 weeks no issue. Fourth order was pillows only, delivered via parcel in 2 days.
The US-Mattress team is great. The shippers they use are questionable with performance.

What is a great option for slide sleepers? I seriously always feel like my back hurts when I lay in bed too long. I sleep on my side, even when I am watching tv

Any recommendations for firm or extra firm mattress? Thank you

I've had two beautyrests, they have been very durable, good quality mattresses. Even though they wouldn't die, we eventually upgraded to a full latex mattress from "sleeponlatex" out of chicago. It's three years old and we love it. It's very cool, very supportive, and has good isolation. For side sleepers, don't get the firm unless you're accustomed to firm mattresses as it is quite firm.
After tracking US Matress prices for weeks after a good Black Friday price, I never saw them dip low enough for what I wanted to pay. To be honest, I have bought from them before, and it was a good experience, but that's a different matter than price point.
I ended up buying the 900 series mattress mentioned here, from Home Depot. It was on sale, and I was able to get free haul away and stack a 15% off coupon.
I like the mattress - I sleep on my side and it's firmness is borderline comfortable in that position. On my back or stomach, its perfect. I'm about to order a mattress topper to see if things get a tiny bit better. Overall, I"m happy and it doesn't sag (main complaint of my old one)

Do I absolutely need a box spring I can get slats on a platform bed or I can just get a big piece of plywood
The BRS900 series is also available from Costco, cheaper at all sizes.

Sorry can't respond to everyone so I will give you all some insight on mattresses hope you come back and see this comment.
1st I always suggest firm- extra firm mattresses to people who sleep on their back. It's good for your back/posture and will last a long time.
2nd If you sleep on your side pillow tops are comfortable, but their are issues when it comes body impressions (gets to soft in the middle where your hips are).
I suggest to my friends and family get yourself a firm or extra firm mattresses and add a mattress topper if you sleep on your side. You can switch those out often if it gets too soft and won't cost you a whole new mattress.
3rd boxsprings are very important to a mattress as long as the boxsprings is not broken anywhere. the mattress slates can be uneven or too many gaps in between that eventually overtime will damage the mattress firmness . If you use a flat piece of plywood that's fine that works.
4th I personally bought on good promotion a adjustable base that elevates the mattress on the head and feet area and let me tell you it was a great desicion changes the way you sleep completely and helps the mattress last a long time because of the sturdyness.
5th Don't go too cheap on a mattress you will regret it, majority of people sleep 8 hours. If you buy a luxury mattress like Sterns and Foster , Tempur-pedic, beautyrest black you will get what you paid for. You can choose soft or firm it will last a long time the coils and support on luxury mattresses are great.
Hope this helps you all with your desicion's good luck SD community ✌️
