This has TONS of caveats that add up to headaches and huge fees. It's a racket:
1. You don't have any control over your cyptocurrency (if you have no control, and can't get it out, do you even own it?) when you buy through paypal as they hold all the currency. You can't move your crypto to another holder, or another wallet, etc. -- you can only buy / sell w/ Paypal and that means they get to set whatever conversion fees and rates they want (translation: they will rip you off) when you want to move your crypto to another holding company, your own wallet, etc., and that you will have to sell and re-buy to move your crypto. That also means potential tax implications.
2. Expensive and BIG FEES. You have to pay a spread AND fees
3. You can't do a withdrawal to your own prive wallet (self withdrawal)
4. You can't transfer crypto between accounts
5. You have to give your SSN and bank account info to paypal if you haven't already. Might also have to provide ID to verify identity (unsure)?
6. You have to agree to even more terms and conditions when adding crypto services to your paypal account
This reward will be automatically applied to your next eligible purchase when you checkout with PayPal. Once redeemed, your Reward will be reflected on your PayPal receipt or in your PayPal transaction details.
