Office Depot has a HP Pavilion Desktop with a Ryzen 7 5700G CPU and 16GB of RAM on sale for $549.99 (regular price is $699.99; beats previous deal posted on April 29th by $70!). Here are the full specifications from HP's website:
https://support.hp.com/hr-en/document/c07119926

I checked online and most Office Depot stores in my area now have it available for same-day in-store pick-up. The stores that had it in stock showed three units in stock per location.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Yes, as long as it has a PCIe slot you can install your GTX 960 graphics card.

No, yuugotserved is wrong. The power supply in this computer will not run a GTX 960, and the power supply cannot be upgraded to one that will. This goes for almost any dedicated GPU sadly. These systems just aren't meant to be upgraded.

If you want to game, it's better to spend the extra $50 on the $600 HP that Walmart has.
https://www.walmart.com/ip/HP-Pav.../943933730

They are a Ryzen 3500 (6-core) with a GTS 1650 Super. A 1650 Super is roughly twice the graphical performance of a 5700G.

It looks like Walmart's website sells out of these very quickly and only 3rd party sellers are listed there. But if you can find them at your local store they are sold for $599.

This is why it's called a desktop.
This wasn't available before the pandemic. This processor is quite new.

Quick Google search shows vega 8 iGPU, not bad. Would be great for esports or games @ 720/1080p. Wish could do more than 2gb to the gpu tho

This is so cheap . If a 5700G compares ok with a 5600x , it's like a $350 CPU in there. Is that a good comparison ?

Esports titles and older games? Sure, at 1080p & low/medium.

New AAA games? Maybe, but at 720p & low.

Generally you'll want a discrete GPU for most PC gaming.

HP's specs for the motherboard say HDMI 1.4b/HDCP 2.2 port.

yes. the 5700G has 2 more cores than the 5600x so it's more like a gimped 5800x. I'd say it'll be as fast as the 5600x in most tasks and faster if it's a highly threaded task.
