I no longer support Wyze, especially with health data and emails considering their leak and how they reacted to it.
The bad: no constant heart rate monitoring, heart rate doesn't seem to sync to Google Fit but it's supposed to (for me anyway, even after setting it up), data won't sync to Samsung health, HR is supposed to be taken every 5 minutes (settings option on watch) but the watch shows the light and no data in the app, no reply options, no music control options, heart rate monitor has been off from actual reading a few times by a good amount, find my phone won't turn on your ringer so if it's on vibrate it just vibrates, watch faces are hideous, you can't customize layout of watch faces if you use your own picture (I want HR to be on the main face at all times like my Samsung fit), notifications take a small bit of tinkering and are kind of ugly.
I mean a lot of this can get better with updates to the software. I still like it and my other Wyze products but it always seems it takes a bit before they're truly good.
Overall, the biggest disappointment is the clock face styles. Most are borderline hideous [imgur.com], all 10 of them.

You can not add two of the same watch on the same account. You can added one Watch 47 and one Watch 44, but CAN NOT add two of the same model. I found this S#!% out last night. I had to create and setup a whole new account for my wife because we both have a ww47. Then you need to share the devices to her account so she can have access to whatever is on your account. But if you have Security Monitoring on your account, she won't have access to that. WTF WYZE!?!?!?!?!!?

Not surprising. If I gave you an ugly looking non-smart watch, you may not want to wear it either. Clock face is what makes the watch look nice/ bad.
1) Step counter is close to my Samsung watch, usually on the lower side in Wyze by 5%. Sometimes Samsung watch shows some 50% more steps than Wyze, but after digging in I found that it also adds steps from my Samsung phone when I'm not wearing the watches. And without GPS-on in Samsung watch, both count hand swings while sitting as steps. Samsung watch can measure running, elliptical, yoga, weights etc, while Wyze supports only running at this time.
2) O2 monitor is pretty accurate. I compared it with O2 monitor in my Samsung S9 phone and they are same, around 97%. If I fully cover myself in a thick comforter for couple of minutes and measure the O2, Wyze shows ~87%, same as my S9.
3) Heart rate monitor seems to be pretty accurate. The hourly min-max range of Heart rate sometimes differ by 10 BPM in Wyze and Samsung watches. I think it's due to the difference in times when it's measured within that hour. Samsung watch does continuous monitoring while Wyze does it every 5 mins. If I manually check the Heart rate in both watches at same time, the difference is only 1-2 BPM. I see that Wyze reports the change in heart rate quicker than Samsung watch. If Wyze shows drop in heart rate from, say, 70-60 BPM while measuring, Samsung show that drop after ~10seconds. The resting heart rate shown by both watches at night differs by only 1-2 BPM and both of them can report as low as 40 BPM.
4) Sleep tracking data in both the watches are different. Though the number of hours slept is same in both watches, the light sleep, deep sleep hours differ sometimes by an hour. Don't know which one is accurate though.
5) Samsung watch battery life is strictly 2 days, while that of Wyze watch is 9 days with continuous heart rate monitor on. Wyze app shows calender graph of steps, heart rate, O2, sleep, calories similar to my Samsung health app.
If you need basic functionality watch with long battery life and if you prefer reading the tracking data in the phone app rather than in the watch itself, I think Wyze is the best choice especially for the price. If you want advanced features like GPS, Wifi, yoga tracking, reply to messages and answer calls from watch, more watch face customizations etc, look elsewhere.
Not sure, but this last update didn't seem to bring any more options, perhaps it was the previous update?
Would like in future that we could edit/replace the Wyze logo and/or add a picture in some analog styles. Also hope they get inspired to do some better numeric/digital themes.

Otherwise it's fine as a simple fitness tracker that can tell the time and show notifications, which is all I really wanted. Sure, it would be nice to have Spotify controls and Siri/Assistant and shopping lists and NFC payments and calendar views and stand-alone functionality, but this is a $26 device, not a $200+ smartphone-on-a-wrist like the Apple Watch.
I just wish the connection was more reliable.
(I will say that I like how on iOS you don't have to give the Wyze app full access to everything on your phone unlike on Android.)
