how does the mag-safe charger work? Can it charge my S20? I understand its not gonna magnet on to my phone, but will it charge if i just lay it on?

mag safe is just Qi charging with a magnetic ring. works with any compatible Qi device. S20 probably uses Qi

I feel like the entire point of wireless charging is destroyed with this. Did I just see them pocket the charger attached to the phone? Why not just you know, charge it regularly? It's not like it's also faster to charge regularly or anything....
