Price has been decreasing every day for last few days per CCC. Indicator roast dates are probably old?
I bought this coffee fresh at my local Sprouts Farmers Market recently and I have to say that I didn't love it. Compared to Peet's Big Bang medium roast, this has a much more bitter burnt taste (as evidenced by the significantly more oily bean). This may be a point of preference but just so you're aware. The price is outstanding.
This coffee is pretty weak. The dark roast is dark but light on flavor. also....thats not a good deal.

I didn't care for the medium roast either. The dark roast was much better IMO.

You could have Gevalia for the same price per ounce, which I buy as my default...anyone who has had both, any opinions on why this would be better? I'd be willing to try some if there was some reason to.

Just last year this was around $12 for a 2.2 lb bag. This is a decent deal, but deinitely not FP.

Kicking Horse is great. I used to get them and Lavazza before I switched to home roasting. As others noted, these might be older packages. If you get fresh packages, they'll be great tasting.
