I got the Bosch laser distance and find it only useful for rough estimates. If I can return it for a refund, I would but too late for that. It may be useful for contractors but definitely useless for home owners.

I've had this for a little bit over a year now and it works in certain niches. If you're cutting something precise look elsewhere but if you need lots of quick ballpark measurements this works great. Things like carpeting or rough measurements for rough calculations and if you're buying above what is needed for the job. Also works well for measurements where you may need a ladder or for those instances where your tape measure just doesn't hold that length before it snaps.

I've been stalking this for over a month and even went in to my local HD when it changed to qty 15, but they didn't actually have them. Was extra annoyed when it went on sale the other day and is still unavailable. I would bet money this is an example of something that got delayed because of the Suez canal fiasco.
