No, correct. They shipped my order even though there was an issue with the ZIP. I fixed it using the link they give you after the phone was already on the way. They won't hold the order. I got a confirmation email the port was good to go after I fixed it.

Thanks for let me know. That was a good idea, but I don't really want to spend $784 on a phone. Only want to get it if price is $784 - $200 gc = $584.

I'll second that excellent advice! I went through the exact same thing.
  1. Set up a Slickdeals alert and jump on it as soon as you see it - I also needed 3 tries to get in on this deal as it sells out within hours
  2. Make sure you already have the account number and password (or PIN) for the provider you're porting in from. Visible's website wouldn't accept my extra-long password so I had to reset my AT&T PIN and put that in instead.
  3. Be ready to use PayPal - Visible only accepts credit cards and PayPal & my credit card refused to go through multiple times. PayPal using that exact same card processed on the first try.
