That's true if you use this as a side dish, though someone eating this as a meal might use the entire package as one serving.
It's definitely true that convenience foods usually aren't compatible with low sodium diets. But, as someone with a lot of joint pain, it's difficult to prepare meals conventionally, so I'm always looking for easier ways to expand my options. Rinsing canned veggies and beans which have added salt reduces the sodium, but luckily it's much easier to find frozen veggies sans salt.
